About Anns Orchard

SPECIALIZING IN PLACER GROWN OWARI SATSUMA MANDARINS

Located in the lower foothills of the Sierra Mountains, Ann’s Orchard is about 40 miles east of Sacramento between the old mining town of Auburn and the farming town of Lincoln. It is here on an old stagecoach road that we moved in 1977 to do as other families have. That is, watch our kids grow up alongside the other feral animals of the open spaces nature has provided. As many others before us we began with Old McDonald’s farm, raising just about every farm animal known to North America. Being farmers by nature we quickly started planting just about anything we could find space for. Then in 1993 we planted our first Owari Satsuma mandarin trees and the real Ann’s Orchard was born.  In 2012 we went from a a certified organic grower to a non-certified organic grower.
Since 1993 we have added other fruit trees and commercial produce but mandarins are our main focus.
